Kado
M.D.

Dr. Jessica Kado is a board certified dermatologist who completed her surgical training at the #2 ranked hospital in the country, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. During her fellowship, she completed over 1500 surgical cases comprised of Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancers, dermatologic oncology and cosmetic surgery including laser surgery and injectables.

She completed an accelerated course for her undergraduate studies at Wayne State University and was then accepted to their medical school at the age of 19.  The old saying goes, if you have to have skin cancer removed from your face, may as well have someone capable of graduating college at 19 years old do it!  That’s not an old saying but it should be.  Following an internship at St. John Hospital & Medical Center she completed her dermatology residency training at Wayne State University.  During her residency, she served as Chief Resident and upon completion was invited to join the faculty at Wayne State School of Medicine Department of Dermatology where she taught hundreds of medical students and dermatology residents for five years.

Dr. Jessica Kado specializes in dermatologic surgery and cosmetic procedures. As a fellowship trained Mohs surgeon, she pairs skin cancer removal with plastic surgery reconstruction.  Armed with extensive cosmetic experience she uses advanced techniques for total facial rejuvenation and body restoration for a refreshed natural look.

As a young mother of five (that’s not a typo) you may see her around town supporting local businesses or in the park dabbling in portrait photography.  She is an Oakland County native and is excited to provide our community with an extraordinary level of care.
